Promotional Research: The Raffle

I started the event with optimism that the promotional technique used would be a hit with people who would be into the EDM(Electronic Dance Music) scene. The technique we used was raffling off a ticket to a music festival known as Nocturnal Wonderland.The festival itself is a big one that attracts thousands of people annually. The likes came in fast for the first few hours until they started slowing down until the rate i would get would be 1 like/per hour. Eventually the likes stopped and more people started declining the invitation. People had the option of helping others achieve 200 likes on the page so I the raffles coordinator could raffle off a 2 day pass valued at 105 dollars. Sadly the results showed that people didn’t enjoy helping others achieve a certain goal if it wasn’t to there interest. More of the results show that people going to the event will not support or try to enter the raffle because they are going no matter what. Liking the page takes 10 seconds to do, but sadly people don’t seem to care.

Club Girls

Are fucking ugly and disgusting.

Pretty girls stay at home, Club girls go out to that scene because they can’t get ass by just going to any ordinary place, oh and the pretty ones are usually the stuck up bitches who only above average looking guys have a chance at getting at. Did I mention 90% of the population in clubs do not attend college? Just a fact :D

Day 2

Promoting a ticket towards an event, is a bad idea so far. People would not care because they feel they will just not end up winning so they might as well buy the ticket and not hope there chances on a draw. By the time I do the raffle i expect a few more likes and not more. Not unless they sell out and my whole friend list decides to go. Remember raffling off to an event is a bad idea unless ofcourse you raffle off a ticket for a sold out event. 

I’m going to try to continue to promote, but it seems people don’t even like it if they are not interested on the event. Even with the chance of selling a ticket that will probably sold out by September 20, and they could cash in 150 dollars. You tell me what they are thinking.

Day 1 Middle of the Night Promotion Research Draft

DAY 1 2:29 AM

I have started the event on Facebook.com to try and promote my music page. So far people have been doing it, up to 19 likes. There are 4 no attending that did not like the page to help other people win a free ticket to nocturnal. I’m starting to see that a lot of people really don’t care about the success of other people since all they had to do was like a simple page. Seems like people are most likely interested in their own things. Well Let’s see how it continues

 I’ve always been an asshole why? Because i speak the honest truth. I’m sorry if what i say hurts you, but I’m not going to change the way I am for anyone. Sorry if I offended you guys but you are what you are. It’s not my fault we had something in the past and just because i say your my ex you have to make a big deal about it. I think i also speak the truth for most of the guys i know that all there ex girlfriends ended up in the shit hole. One got the less attractive one trying to go to school for her(prob will drop out), the other one got the less attractive one as well with no life and the other turned into a whore. I’m sorry that’s the way it is, if it makes you feel better I’ll say something bad about myself; I’m a fucking asshole and I love it. I believe I’m real as it gets, sometimes. Sometimes i like to fuck around, but who doesn’t. Oh yeah i also hate when people follow trends. Your friends play this game you join they stop you stop. Really? Be your fucking self, because that’s one of the reasons i stopped hanging out with you guys. Some of my friends went camping lol, new friends to be exact except for 2 of them, i hope no broke back mountain scenes occur for them. If they do, i’ll be the first to say i’m glad i didn’t go. Thinking about it though who goes to the forest to drink and do drugs? That’s so unproductive and dangerous. Talking about being unproductive I’ve felt it 24/7 throughout my summer break. We should just have school every day except Saturdays and Sundays since when we work the only days we get off really are just those 2 days and the usual holidays. 

Oh yeah please don’t talk like you know about something because when you try to present some fake facts it just shows how much a joke you really are.

Ditched so many times. Mad as fuck. Want to throw away everything.  Real friends don’t exist. Proven to me too many times this year. I’m going to be an outcast all over again.
